A Little Bit about my professional history

I graduated from the University of NSW in 1995 Majoring in a Bachelor of Commerce, in Accounting & Finance. Since then I have completed additional legal studies through UNSW and also completed the courses for membership with CPA, IPA, and the Tax Agents Practioners Board.

I am a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and a Regsitered Tax Agent. I was also a member of CPA Australia for 25 years however ceased that membership recently as I personally believe the Institute of Public Accountants provides more support and Continuing Prefessional Development than CPA. Just me preferance really.
My 30 years experience ranges from years in Private Practice specialising in Business Services and Taxation, to many years of roles as Group Financial Controller and Taxation Manager of multiple Multinational Corporations.

The last 6 years, I have been back in Private Practice servicing clients mainly in Ulladulla where I live, but also have clients elsewhere such as Sydney and the ACT.
These range from Individuals, Sole Traders, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts & Self Managed Superfunds.

My passion is to really get to know the client, and their affairs. Communication is key to the best results for clients. Tax Planning is ESSESNTIAL. It is too late after the Financial Year is over, and unfortuantely "it is what it is" is an unfortunate fact. My phone is always available. If I cannot get back to you on the same day, it will be the next day at the latest.
